In Rochester, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across New York, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rochester follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Fuego is a great spot for coffee and coworking, although be prepared to sit at the bar if you need an outlet. There are only a couple of tables with power. Regardless, the staff and other patrons are always friendly and the atmosphere is always nice!

I love the vibe of Fuego, and the coffee is delicious! The Uncle Marble latte is my go-to! My daughter, who is 16, has been coming with me to Fuego for years and she's a huge fan! She loves the chai -- and always a pastry! THANK YOU for carrying goodies from Red Fern so that we vegans can delight too! And thank you, too, for having non-chocolate, vegan options for those really quirky ones among us who are chocolate-sensitive! :) Love, love Fuego!!

Another fantastic cafe! Despite the height of the ceiling, the inviting soft warm lighting and big windows somehow manages to feel intimate and cozy. Very laid back atmosphere with plenty of seating. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Salted Caramel Latte which was delish. Then I came across the Orange Blossom Latte and it was out of this world amazing. It took a good few sips to taste the orange but when it did I was blown away! By far one of the best lattes I’ve had in the 76 cafes I’ve visited. It’s the first time my partner tried the Mexico Drip Coffee. He liked the fact that it was a medium roast, low acid, full bodied with a natural sweetness. If we didn’t have a copious amount of coffee beams at home from other places we would have bought some to take home. They have a good range of baked items too. There is plenty of seating and off street parking.

2 blocks away from the strong museum of play. Unexpectedly high coffee quality, nothing g special but overall enjoyable, both hot and iced. Love the mug option to avoid micro-plastics. A clean, relaxing and spacious place. Highly recommend.
